The Judge asked her to give up some of her rights!

In order to keep her in jail , the judge asked her to give up some of her rights ; Is this common in the court of law?  The Public Defendant did not even protested the motion , several months have past and no conviction nothing, I have not let the D.A. Office even to star the pre-trial , they know that they can not win this case ; They do not know what to do after several months,  Sulema answered "yes" to all the questions because she is mentally incompetent as a result of her mental disability , she is unable to understand the nature of the criminal proceedings and she can not assist the public defender in the conduct of a defense in a rational manner , but the problem is that the public defender  HE DOES NOT WANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT! I  have told him hundreds of times the same thing and he does not get it.
what good is that everybody tells you that you have a constitutional rights when you go to court the judge ask you to give up your most basic constitutional rights in other words you are strip it down your most basic rights

Expensive Collect Call

while she is still in jail she wants to communicate with me by phone the only way available collect calls GTL the only company available (if you want to call it MONOPOLY) prices are outrages $2.25 PER MINUTE I live one hour away from the facility she is in same county LOS ANGLES, same state CALIFORNIA same country U.S.A. (it is cheaper to call to Russia, China or Germany) come on !! we are in the same country why all those rates per minute????? this is unbelievable , this is so frustrating (I have to wait until she calls ; I can not call her those are the rules; must of the time when the police send innocent people to jail it is all about business now I know it and they know it too!
and worst of all they record all calls no private conversations and we have to agree about that, so many months she has been incarcerated for nothing she is innocent

It took me more than 6 months  ( all the time Sulema was incarcerated  in a county jail awaiting a response for his mental illness ) It was so hard  to convince the Judge and the D.A. Office that Sulema is a Mental Disable person diagnosed by many doctors, including one from UCLA and another from the" Court Panel" that Sulema suffers from PARANOID SCHIZOPHRENIA and is at risk of experiencing relapses of agitation, paranoia , disorganized behavior and command hallucinations; Well after all that ordeal the Judge declared her " Mentally incompetent" to Stand trial and sent her to a State Mental Hospital. (Mentally ill people who have contact with the criminal justice system are too often incarcerated while awaiting trial rather than sent to hospital or treatment centers. THE CHARGE AGAINST HER INVOLVE NONVIOLENT CONDUCT  she is no danger to others or self.
 they want to keep them in jail and not send them to a  MentalHospital they are not receiving the appropriate level of care.

It  just took  a couple of  months to a corrupt Social Worker compromised with a also corrupt California State Hospital Doctor in declare her mentally competent and sent her back to jail again. SHE STILL IS A MENTALLY INCOMPETENT PERSON even though they say otherwise .

SHE NOW IS IN JAIL AGAIN!
for a mental disable person being in jail is like TORTURE ; being locked up make them get worst
they have to be treat in a Mental Hospital .
(It makes no sense to send non serious, non violent offenders to a place filled  with hardened criminials - and still expect them to come out better than they went in.)

I spoke with her while she was in the hospital and she is not only insane but she is having a memory loss
She does not remember what happened last year some times she does not even remember her last name.

In the beginning of January the Social Worker started
threatening her with sending her back to jail only because she has pending charges in court , the social worker was mad at her because she was not learning anything about competency and because she did not want to read the book that the social worker gave her in the hospital to restore competency the Social Worker once said "did I make the book to easy for you that you do not want to read it?" she asked sulema sarcastically, the Social Worker did not like Sulema
My guess is that the Social Worker also had pressure from the D.A. office to send her back to Jail and Court as soon as possible even though SHE DID NOT GAIN COMPETENCE AT ALL

worst of all is that the P.D. (Public Defender) told me that his point of view she is competent only because she recognized him as her lawyer that's not true I can not believe it because this was the first time he met with her in court because de P.D. office had changed 4 p.d.'s in that short amount of time and he is new in the case and moreover the former p.d.'s all of them were women so he is lying ; while the DA is being solid as gold with one and only attorney the same since the beginning of this problem and the worst of all is that the PUBLIC DENFER WANTS TO GO TO TRIAL. this is so frustrating

Is for that reason that we want the help of the people in order to raise the money to HIRE A COUPLE OF PRIVATE CRIMINAL LAWYERS along with a PRIVATE PSYCHIATRY to check on her again

Sulema can not defend herself nor she can help the public dender to defend herself in court even though he said otherwise.
